Over-18s night of soul, R&B and contemporary music with Georgia Blankson, billed as Miss Blankson, at Bohemia in The Lanes.
Georgia Blankson plays Bohemia on Friday 6 November, performing under the name Miss Blankson. It's a live night in the heart of The Lanes, with Blankson taking the stage for a full set of soulful vocals and live music.
She's billed as Miss Blankson for the evening, and the music sits in that soul and R&B territory, with contemporary sounds worked in around the edges. The description that follows her highlights a powerful stage presence and a captivating way of holding a room, so this is a night built around the performance as much as the songs themselves. It's a live show, not a DJ set, and the focus stays on the vocals.
Bohemia is tucked away in The Lanes, and the night leans into the intimate, welcoming feel of the venue. It's an over-18s event, so you'll want to keep that in mind if you're bringing anyone along. The music runs from 19:30 to 22:30, three hours of live soul and R&B in a room that puts you close to the stage.
