A Different Thread

A Different Thread play The Folklore Rooms on Sunday 18 October, as part of their tour for the new album Over Again. They're a North Carolina Americana band, so they've come a fair way to get here.

The tour is built around Over Again, the record they're out supporting, and that's where the set will draw its main material from. If you've been following them, it's the new songs that take centre stage here, with the rest of the set filling in around them. It's a tour that puts the new album first, rather than treating it as a side note to the older stuff.

Americana is the label they work under, and that's the sound they're bringing over from North Carolina. It's music rooted in the American South, and they're playing it live on a tour that's taking Over Again across the water. The Folklore Rooms is the Brighton stop on that run.

It's a Sunday night, with the music starting at 8:00 pm. Tickets start from £11.25, and the venue is at 12 North Street, BN1 3GJ.
