If you have spent any time wandering down Trafalgar Street, you have likely walked past the Brighton Toy and Model Museum without giving it a second thought. However, starting this May 23rd, there is a specific reason to head inside. The museum is hosting a new exhibition titled 60 Years of Star Trek, which focuses on the history of the franchise through its toys, models, and various pieces of memorabilia. It is a straightforward look at how the series has been represented in physical form over the last six decades.

The exhibition runs from May 23rd, 2026, through to October 31st, 2026. Since it is housed within the museum itself, you do not need a separate ticket; the display is included with the standard admission. The museum operates on a schedule that might be worth noting before you plan your visit: they are open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 to 17:00, and on Saturdays from 11:00 to 17:00, with the last entry at 16:30. They remain closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Regarding the costs, the museum updated its pricing structure on March 1st, 2026. Adult tickets are £10.00, while those aged 65 and over pay £8.00. For students and young people between 19 and 25, the price is £7.00, which is the same rate for visitors with disabilities and their carers. Children aged 5 to 18 are £6.00, and there is a family ticket available for £20.00, covering up to two adults and two children. If you are a local resident with a BN1 to BN3 postcode, the entry fee is £8.00. Children under 5 can enter for free when accompanied by an adult. The museum is located at 52-55 Trafalgar Street, Brighton, BN1 4EB, so it is fairly central if you are already in the area.
