A family festival held on the pitch at the Amex Stadium featuring football activities, live music, and entertainment to celebrate the club's 125th anniversary.
Brighton & Hove Albion is marking its 125th year with a calendar that stretches across most of 2026, and one of the main highlights for locals is the 125 Anniversary Family Festival. Scheduled for Saturday, 6 June 2026, the event is taking place directly on the pitch at the Amex Stadium. It is an opportunity to spend time on the actual grass where the team plays, with a day featuring football activities, live music, and various forms of entertainment. The club launched the programme with the involvement of former figures like Brian Horton, Mark McGhee, and Glenn Murray, and the event is specifically designed for families and fans of the club.

The festival is one part of a broader series of commemorative milestones. The celebrations begin in April with screenings of the documentary 'Stand or Fall' in both Worthing and Brighton. This is followed by an Awards Gala on 19 May, which will feature a large-scale screen production positioned in front of the players' tunnel. For those interested in the club's local roots, there is a planned takeover of the Seven Stars pub on 24 June, which commemorates the club's history. These events lead into a celebratory friendly match in August and the opening of a permanent gallery at the Brighton Museum & Art Gallery on 15 August 2026.
The Brighton Museum exhibition, also titled 'Stand or Fall', is intended to be a permanent addition to the city's cultural offerings. Regarding the festival in June, the organisation at the Amex Stadium suggests a formal event structure, though specific ticket prices have not been released yet. The day will include special guests alongside the music and football sessions. It is a busy year for the club, with the schedule moving from cinematic screenings and awards nights to the family-focused day on the pitch and the eventual museum opening, covering several different locations across Brighton and the surrounding area.
