
St. Peter's Church is a Grade I listed Anglican parish church located in the centre of Bournemouth. Completed in 1879 to a design by George Edmund Street, it serves as the town's founding mother church and is a prominent landmark with its 202-foot spire. The church is renowned for its rich Gothic Revival interior, beautiful stained-glass windows, and its churchyard which contains the Shelley family vault, the final resting place of Frankenstein author Mary Shelley.
