Tribute show celebrating the music and career of Tina Turner, with Holly Bannis as lead performer.
What's Love Got To Do With It? comes to the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on Saturday 30 January 2027, as part of a tour that's taking the show across the UK and Denmark. It's a tribute to Tina Turner, the 'Queen of Rock 'n' Roll', and it returns for 2027 after a 2026 run that drew over 60,000 fans. The Bournemouth date is one of 53 shows on the 2026-2027 tour, so it's a good chance to catch it without having to travel far.
Stepping into Tina's iconic heels is Holly Bannis, who fronts a live band. She's from Kent and is the daughter of Greg Bannis, former lead singer of Hot Chocolate. She'd been honing her craft for more than a decade before she was discovered at an audition for ITV's Starstruck, where she had to impersonate three of her musical icons. She was initially cast as a backing singer and understudy, but she quickly took over the lead role to standing ovations. The show itself isn't endorsed by or affiliated with the Tina Turner Estate.
