Froglord is a sludgy, psychedelic doom act from Bristol that started as a one-man project during the pandemic. The first EP came out in 2020, followed by the album Amphibian Ascending. By the end of 2021 the project was playing live, and it's since grown into a four-piece with a concept-based discography of stoner and psychedelic doom. That includes the albums The Mystic Toad, Army of Frogs and Sons of Froglord.
Their sound draws on psychedelia, prog, sludge, grunge, groove and blues, and they're known for commanding, theatrical stage performances. The support act, Amphibian Doom Metal, shares the same amphibian theme as the headliners, so the whole night should sit in the same heavy, slow-moving territory.
