Tony Hadley: The Christmas Big Band Tour

Tony Hadley brings his Christmas big band tour to the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on Monday 16 November 2026, with the show starting at 7:45pm. It's a return to the Pavilion for the former Spandau Ballet frontman, who played a sold-out run here the previous year.

On this tour, Hadley is joined by his Fabulous TH Band and a full brass section, and the set is built around his crooning, swing style. He blends classic crooner hits and timeless jazz and swing standards with his own 80s anthems and a selection of festive favourites, all delivered with that big-band sound. The whole thing leans into the crooner side of things, which suits both his singing voice and his natural charm as a raconteur and showman.

It's a bit of a crossover night: you'll hear the big-band standards and the Christmas songs alongside the 80s tracks he's known for, so it works whether you're coming for the festive mood or for the Spandau connection. The brass section is a proper part of the sound rather than just a backdrop, and the set is as much about the storytelling between the songs as it is about the music itself.

One practical detail to keep in mind: under-14s are only admitted when accompanied by an adult. The show is at the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on Monday 16 November 2026, starting at 7:45pm.
