Stand-up comedy show by Tom Allen, returning to the stage after his sell-out tour Completely.
Tom Allen is back at the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on Saturday 29 January 2028, with his new stand-up show Totally. It follows his previous sell-out tour Completely, and before that Both Worlds, so it's the latest in a run of tours that have kept him on the road.
In Totally, Allen totals up what life is all about, though he spends a good deal of the time getting distracted. He works his way through the small, irritating things that get under your skin: old women on the bus listening to music without earphones, annoying influencers, and a plumber who wants to fit a 'fanny trap'. He admits he knows he should be enjoying things, but still feels he doesn't quite fit in.
If you only know him from the TV, there's a fair bit more to him than the persona. He's a best-selling author who's written two memoirs, No Shame and Too Much, and a debut novel, Common Decency. On screen, he co-hosts ITV's Cooking with the Stars and the Like Minded Friends podcast, and hosts the gardening podcast Potterer. He's also starred in the musical Titanique and appeared on The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice, Cats Does Countdown, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Would I Lie To You? and QI.
