The Sensational 60s Experience

The Sensational 60s Experience comes to the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on Friday 30 April 2027, starting at 7:30pm. It's a package show built around an ensemble of original artistes and band members, and they describe it as a festival of nostalgia.

Rather than a single act, the evening brings together a group of performers who were actually there during the era, so the music comes from people who lived it. The set leans on 60s classics like 'The Legend Of Xanadu', 'Silence Is Golden', 'Storm in a Teacup', 'Hitchin' a Ride' and 'Hippy Hippy Shake' — the kind of songs that defined the decade's sound. It's a package show, which means you get a run of different acts on one bill rather than a single headliner.

They bill it as the biggest 60s package show on tour, and the whole thing is framed as a festival of nostalgia. The focus is on the songs and the people who played them, with the original artistes and band members taking the lead. If you've got a soft spot for the music of that decade, it's a straightforward way to hear a good chunk of it in one night.

Tickets start from £34.50, and the show kicks off at 7:30pm at the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on Friday 30 April.
