A comedy show headlined by Terry Alderton, featuring Samantha Day and Mike Cox, hosted by Adrienne Coles as part of the Coastal Comedy Christmas Special.
The Coastal Comedy Christmas Special comes to The Barrington Arts and Community Centre on Friday 4 December, with Terry Alderton headlining. It's presented by Adrienne Coles of the award-winning Coastal Comedy, who hosts three acts across the night.
Alderton is a loose-limbed, physical comedian and a former Southend goalkeeper. He earned a Perrier Award nomination and holds the record for the most encores at the Comedy Store, and has appeared at The Apollo and on Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow. He's the main draw here, so his set takes up the bulk of the evening.
Opening the bill is Samantha Day, joined by Mike Cox, the Fosters South Coast Comedian of the Year, known for sharp wit and delicious cynicism. Between them, they set the stage for Alderton to take over. Adrienne Coles keeps the whole thing moving, introducing the acts and tying the night together.
