A showcase of the latest routines from Pavilion Dance South West's autumn classes, presented as a theatre show.
The Autumn Revue is at Pavilion Dance South West on Sunday 13 December, starting at 6pm. It's the season's showcase for PDSW, a Bournemouth-based company that mixes theatre shows with social dances, and the whole thing is built around performances of the latest routines from their autumn classes. If you've been taking one of those classes yourself, this is where the work from the term ends up on stage.
It's the main feature of a wider autumn programme that runs from family-friendly productions to nights for professional artists. Alongside the revue, there's a New Waves Scratch Night, which gives professional artists a platform to show works in progress and gather audience feedback. The social side of the season includes a Line Dance Social with live music from country singer-songwriter Ky Rivers and a Festive Ceilidh with Jigfoot, so the revue sits as the theatrical bookend to a few months of dancing across the city.
