A dark live immersive theatre experience where the audience makes real-time decisions via mobile devices that affect the outcome of the story.
Sins comes to the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on Saturday 6 March 2027, starting at 7:30pm. It's an immersive theatre experience that puts the audience in the driver's seat, and it's not your usual night at the theatre — you'll need your phone for this one.
At the centre of the show is a figure known only as The Examiner. Lined up before them are seven people, each embodying one of the Seven Deadly Sins: Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, Envy, Wrath, Pride and Greed. As each person's story unfolds on stage, you're drawn in through intelligent challenges, timed decisions and judgement trials played out on your own mobile device. Every choice you make changes what happens next, so the evening you see will depend on the decisions the room makes in real time.
It's a dark live experience where theatre, psychological challenge and audience power collide. The tension doesn't come from jump scares — it's built into the room and the weight of the decisions you're asked to make. Because the outcome shifts based on the audience's input, every performance ends differently. It's a 16+ show, so it's aimed at a more mature crowd rather than a family outing.
