The world-famous Band of His Majesty's Royal Marines returns to Bournemouth with a military music spectacular that blends festive music and military marches with big band hits and popular showstoppers.
The Band of His Majesty's Royal Marines are back at the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on Thursday 26 November, their only night in town this season. It's the Royal Marines Christmas Spectacular, and as the name suggests, it's a festive one.
The set mixes military music with Christmas tunes, big band hits and popular showstoppers. It's a broad reach, and that's the point: the show is built to offer something for everyone, whether you're there for the polished musicianship of the concert band or the driving beat of the corps of drums. You'll hear the traditional marches and the festive numbers alongside the big band and show tunes, and the drums get their own space too.
