Manchester power trio Ritual King perform live at The Anvil, supported by Plus Funeral Witch Blues.
Ritual King play The Anvil on Thursday 15 October, starting at 7:00 PM. They're a Manchester power trio, and this is their only Bournemouth date on the bill.
They formed in 2016 in the heart of Manchester's underground metal scene, and their sound pulls from a few different places: classic hard rock, progressive psych, folk and stoner rock. It's a broad enough mix that they fit in with a fair few things you'll already know. They've been touring the UK and Europe since 2017, played the Freak Valley Festival in Germany, and supported acts like Atomic Bitchwax, Nebula and Colour Haze.
Their recorded work started with the 2018 EP Earthrise, followed by their self-titled album in 2020. On stage, the trio is fronted by Jordan Leppitt on lead vocals and guitar, with Dan Godwin on bass and Gareth Hodges on drums.
