A charity music festival with 16 bands across two stages raising funds for Forest Holme Hospice.
Ripper Fest 2 takes over Bear's Bar & Venue on Saturday 12 September, with a warm-up night at Chaplin's in Boscombe the evening before. It's a charity music festival run right here in Bournemouth, and all the money it raises goes to Forest Holme Hospice.
The main day is built around two stages, so you can drift between them and catch as much as you fancy. There are 16 bands in total across the weekend, and the line-up for the main day is a long one: Archie Ray, Chimphouse, Elm Tree Circle, George Gadd + The Aftermath, Harker, Kolumbia, Osaka Sun, Scott Anchors & The Heavyweights, Shannon White, Soot Sprite, Still Life, Sun Spot, The Young Hearts, Thingswecantkeep and Weatherstate. With that many names, you're bound to find a few you already know and a fair few you've never heard of.
If you want to get in early, the warm-up at Chaplin's on Friday 11 September gets going with doors at 8pm. The main event on Saturday opens much earlier, with doors at 12pm, so you've got the whole afternoon and evening ahead of you. Tickets are £16.50, which includes the booking fee.
