Beans On Toast plays The Bear Cave on Tuesday 9 December, part of his In Your Neck Of The Woods Tour. If the name sounds familiar but you can't quite place it, the man behind it is Jay McAllister, an Essex folk singer who's been at this for nearly two decades.
What sets him apart is how he works. He's released 15 studio albums, and he's kept a steady habit of putting out a new one every year on 1 December — his birthday. So, by the time he reaches Bournemouth in mid-December, there'll be a fresh record out in the world, and this tour is built around that cycle.
