Nigel Havers: Talking B*ll*cks

Nigel Havers is back on stage at the Bournemouth Pavilion on Wednesday 21 October, with his one-man show Talking Bllcks. It's a storytelling night that looks back over five decades in show business, and Havers is the one telling the tales himself.

He traces his way from the early days as a fresh-faced drama school hopeful through to the roles that most people recognise him from, like Chariots of Fire and Empire of the Sun. From there it goes into his work in the West End and his time in plenty of Palladium pantos, so it covers a good stretch of his career. Along the way he'll be sharing behind-the-scenes gossip and stories of both triumph and disaster, and he'll even look back at his very first acting role.

It's not all just talking, though. He's promised a bit of stage magic and a showcase of one of his off-stage talents, so there's more to it than just a trip down memory lane. The whole thing is delivered with the charm and wit he's known for, and as the title suggests, with a fair sprinkling of bllcks thrown in.

It starts at 7:30pm at the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on Westover Road, and tickets are £42.75.
