Michael Ball returns with a new live show of original music and much-loved classics on his 'Glow' UK headline tour.
Michael Ball is playing the Bournemouth Pavilion on Saturday 26 September, as part of his Glow UK headline tour. He's touring his new album, Glow, and the set will be built around it, with the new songs sitting alongside the older classics he's known for. It's a double-bill night, too, with Liss Jones opening the show before he takes over.
The new material comes from Glow, and that's the record the tour is built around. He'll be playing songs from it throughout the night, so you'll hear the new stuff first-hand rather than just on the album. The older songs will be there as well, so the set pulls from across his career instead of sticking to one era. It's a mix of the two: the new songs he's just released and the ones that have been around for a while.
Ball has talked about what this particular tour means to him. He described the process of writing, producing and singing songs with people he loves as one of the things he enjoys most, and said that taking those songs on the road and performing them, along with the old favourites, for the audiences he loves is the next step. That's the core of the show: the new songs from Glow and the older ones he's played many times before.
