Social line dancing with live country music from Ky Rivers, part of Pavilion Dance South West's autumn programme.
Pavilion Dance South West is hosting a Line Dance Social at Pavilion Dance South West on Saturday 17 October, with live country music from Ky Rivers.
It's a social line dancing night, so the focus is on getting on the floor rather than watching from the side. Ky Rivers provides the live country music to dance to, and the evening is built around that — a night of line dancing with a live band leading the way.
The social is part of Pavilion Dance South West's autumn programme. PDSW is a Bournemouth-based company that runs a mix of theatre shows and social dances. Their work ranges from scratch nights, which give professional artists a platform to showcase works in progress and gather audience feedback, to an autumn revue built around the latest routines from the company's classes. This social sits on the dance-floor end of that mix, where the point is to get involved rather than just watch.
