A sharp, no-holds-barred live comedy show taking aim at modern politics and media chaos, satirising the current political and social climate.
Jonathan Pie is coming to the Bournemouth Pavilion on Wednesday 7 October, with his new live show The End Of The World According To Jonathan Pie.
If you've followed him before, you know the character: the UK's angriest news reporter, usually seen behind a desk and losing his temper at the state of the country. This time he's out from behind the desk and on tour, and the material is built around the current political mess. The set follows him coming to terms with the horror of Keir Starmer's Labour and the fact that he voted for it, while Reform waits in the wings and Elon Musk pulls the strings.
From there it widens out to the rest of the chaos. He takes aim at the far-right on the march, Trump having a ball, the woke left still at a loss, the climate collapsing, and AI about to rule and ruin your life. World War Three is also on the list, which he describes as feeling distinctly possible. He frames the whole thing as a helpful and hilarious guide to surviving the impending apocalypse.
