A seasonal glow-in-the-dark mini-golf experience within the Christmas in Bournemouth festive programme.
Glow Golf opens at SKATE Bournemouth in the Lower Gardens on 12 November, and it's one of the first things to kick off the town centre's festive season. It's a seasonal glow-in-the-dark mini-golf course, so you'll be putting under neon lights rather than out in the day. It runs from 12 November right through to 3 January, giving you plenty of time to fit it in whenever suits you best.
It's part of Christmas in Bournemouth, the wider festive programme that takes over the town centre from 12 November to 3 January. The Lower Gardens are the heart of it all, with illuminated displays, animated installations and a walkway lined with real Christmas trees. Glow Golf sits alongside a few other things you can book in the same spot: an open-air ice rink, the cosy Alpine Lodge Bar, Santa's Workshop and Story Time with Santa. If you're planning a full day out, you can easily string them together.
Beyond the Lower Gardens, the whole season is built around three main experiences in one place: the Bournemouth Christmas Market, which is billed as the region's largest ever, the Festive Trail and Skate Bournemouth. It's worth keeping in mind that while the overall celebrations run until 3 January, the market stalls close on 31 December, so if you want to browse the stalls, you'll need to get there before the end of the year.
