Steve Mitchell returns to Bournemouth Pier for a live tribute performance featuring the greatest hits of George Michael and Wham.
Steve Mitchell is back at Bournemouth Pier on Saturday 5 September, returning to the pier for a tribute to George Michael. He'll be performing the hits from both George Michael's solo career and his time with Wham, and he's bringing a band he's put together himself to back him. It's a celebration of one of the most iconic singer-songwriters of his time, so the set pulls from both eras.
The venue is Key West Coastal Restaurant & Entertainment, at Unit 3, Pier Approach, Bournemouth, BH2 5AA. It's a relaxed spot right at the end of the pier, with panoramic views over the water, so you'll be looking out over the bay while the music is going. If you've spent any time on the pier, you know the one — it's a good place to settle in for the evening.

It's a paid event, and Mitchell's own site is encouraging people to book and buy tickets for his 2026 tour dates, so it's worth sorting yours in advance rather than leaving it to the night. The show runs from 20:30 to 22:30, two hours of George Michael and Wham songs, with the band Mitchell assembled for the occasion. If you're a fan of either, that's the core of it: the hits from both sides of his career, played live at the end of the pier on a Saturday night.
