Don't Blend In returns to Blend On The Hill on Friday 25 September, the latest in a monthly run of comedy nights organised by ComedyArch. The venue is the town's old Daily Echo print room, and the night is billed as Bournemouth's best new comedy night, coming back to the same spot every Friday. Archie Brettle runs the show as master of ceremonies and organiser, pairing a rotating line-up of stand-ups with a bar and two fifteen-minute breaks across the evening.
Headlining is Wilson Milton, a South London-born comic you might recognise from BBC Radio 4's Unsafe Spaces. He's been compared to Micky Flanagan and Lee Nelson, and he's built a following of over 100,000 across TikTok and Instagram, with more than 15 million views on his clips. Opening the night is Zak Lacey, who was crowned Hampshire Comedian of the Year 2025. In the middle, Ben Bridgeman and Dan Stevens fill out the bill, so there are five acts in total across the night.
Bridgeman describes his act as building on the storytelling of Billy Connolly, Louis CK, Will Ferrell, Marc Maron and Bill Burr, which gives you a fair idea of the kind of material he's bringing to the stage. With Brettle hosting and the rotating line-up, the night is set up as a regular fixture rather than a one-off, so if you like the crowd and the room, it's one you can keep coming back to.
