Day Fever comes to O2 Academy Bournemouth on Saturday 26 September, one of its many stops across the UK and Ireland. It's not a gig in the usual sense — there's no band on stage playing a set. Instead, it's a daytime disco, and the music is curated by Jon McClure of Reverend and the Makers, along with Vicky McClure, Jonny Owen and the rest of the gang. They're the ones picking the tracks, so the whole thing is built around their records rather than a live performance.
That's where the daytime part comes in. It's a party that starts while the sun's still up, and the music is personally selected by McClure and his team.
