A glittering live concert celebrating the music and legacy of Barry Manilow with his timeless hits, fronted by vocalist Martyn James.
Copacabana Magic - The Barry Manilow Show comes to the Bournemouth Pavilion on Thursday 1 October, starting at 7:30 pm. It's a tribute production built around the music of Barry Manilow, who's sold over 85 million records worldwide and written the soundtrack to a generation. The show is fronted by vocalist Martyn James, who's described as internationally acclaimed, and he's backed by a live band and dancers.
The setlist pulls from the songs most people associate with Manilow. You'll hear 'Mandy', 'Could It Be Magic', 'Can't Smile Without You', 'I Write the Songs', 'I Made It Through the Rain', 'Bermuda Triangle' and 'Copacabana (At the Copa)'. The dancers bring choreography to the mix, so it's a full stage production rather than just a singer and a band. It's worth keeping in mind that this is a tribute show, not Manilow himself, and it isn't endorsed by or affiliated with the Barry Manilow Estate.
