Bournemouth Fireworks are back at the Littledown Centre on Saturday 7 November, part of the town's Bonfire Night celebrations. The gates open at 5:00pm, and the night is built around three separate displays rather than one long show, with fireworks going off at 7:00pm, 8:00pm and 9:00pm. The organisers describe it as the South's premier firework event, and the three-display format is designed so you can spread the evening out rather than standing in one spot for hours.
It's set up as a full family day out, so there's plenty to do between the displays. There's a large indoor area with children's activities, a live music arena, and fire performer shows. Outside, you'll find a 'have a go' sports area, a large funfair, and food and drink stalls to keep you going. It's the kind of night where you can arrive early and make a proper afternoon of it before the first display even starts.

On the practical side, children under 3 go free, with a child ticket for ages 3-15 and an adult ticket for anyone 16 or over. You can buy tickets on the night, but only in cash at the gate; buying in advance gets you fast-track entry, which is a handy way to skip the queue. A couple of things to keep in mind: children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and no pets are allowed. The gates open at 5:00pm and the whole thing runs until 10:30pm, with the fireworks falling at 7:00pm, 8:00pm and 9:00pm.
