Ballroom & Latin with Lawrence James

Lawrence James takes over the Ballroom and Latin session at Pavilion Dance South West on Friday 14 August, as part of the Dancing Terraces series. It's one night in a wider run of sessions that Pavilion Dance South West is hosting throughout August, so if you can't make this one, there are plenty of other dates to choose from.

The whole thing happens on the Garden Terrace, an outdoor space at Pavilion Dance South West in Bournemouth (BH1 2BU). The format is simple: music, dancing, and DJ sets every Friday and Saturday of the month, with Lawrence James leading the Ballroom and Latin session on the 14th. It's an open-air setup, so the dancing is out in the fresh air rather than tucked away inside.

They describe it as an activity for all ages, families included, and they're very clear that no experience is needed — their own words are "just bring your energy".
