Art and Craft Connections

Art and Craft Connections runs every Monday morning at St Saviour's, 32 Colemore Road, Bournemouth, BH7 6RZ. It's a two-hour session that starts at 10 a.m., so you're in and out by midday with the rest of your Monday still ahead of you.

The group describes itself as a place for fun and growth, where the focus is on building friendships, picking up craft skills and sharing creative ideas. It's designed to bring together people of different ages and cultures, and they make a point of saying that all ages, nationalities and abilities are welcome. They also encourage you to bring friends and neighbours along, so it works as much as a social morning as a creative one.

In terms of what you'll actually be doing, there's a limited range of art materials provided on the day, but you're more than welcome to bring your own craft projects from home if you've already got something on the go. Whether you're starting something fresh with what's there or continuing a project you've been working on elsewhere, the morning is about making things in the company of others.
