Conference with panels and discussions on the Windrush Generation, presented by the Windrush National Organisation.
The Windrush International Conference comes to Edgbaston Park Hotel & Conference Centre on Friday 30 October, run by the Windrush National Organisation. It's a full day, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, so you'll want to clear your schedule for it rather than just popping in for an hour.
The WNO describes the day as a gathering of voices advocating for justice, recognition and lasting solutions for the Windrush Generation. That's the core of it: a day focused on the people and the politics of the Windrush story, with the conversation kept front and centre. The programme mixes engaging discussions with thought-provoking panels, so you'll get a bit of both — the more open, conversational side of things alongside the structured debate. It's the kind of day where you can listen in on the panels and then stick around to hear what people make of it all.
