Live electronic music performance by Welly as part of The Skinny Tour at the Dead Wax venue in Digbeth.
Welly plays Dead Wax on Thursday 15 October, as part of The Skinny Tour. It's a single-act night, so the whole set is theirs.
If you're not familiar with the venue, Dead Wax is in Digbeth, at 28 Adderly Street (B9 4ED). It's a multi-room spot that's become a bit of a focal point for live music in the city. Inside, the smell of freshly baked pizza mixes with craft beer, and there's a mural by local artist Gent48 celebrating Birmingham's musical heritage, set against thousands of vinyl records. Beyond the bar, there's an outdoor 'Duck Bath' yard that works as an alternative space. The programming runs across a lot of ground, from live performances in many genres to curated DJ sets drawn from the venue's own extensive vinyl library.
