Professional development symposium for healthcare pharmacists presented by Unite the union and the Guild of Healthcare Pharmacists.
The Unite-GHP PDIG November Symposium is coming to The Eastside Rooms on Thursday 26 November, running from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. It's put on by Unite the union in association with the Guild of Healthcare Pharmacists (GHP), a professional organisation within the union's health sector. The GHP also runs a PDIG summer symposium, so this is the second of their two main gatherings for the year.
The day is built around insightful discussions, networking and knowledge sharing, and it's designed to give healthcare professionals a chance to connect with fellow practitioners and stay updated on the latest trends in specialist pharmacy practice. The organisers describe it as 'always a hot ticket', and it's held in person at The Eastside Rooms, which sits right next door to the Unite the union offices here in Birmingham. A government-recognised photo ID is required for entry, and a meal is included in the ticket, though no alcohol is served. If you're coming from out of town, the Aloft by Marriott Birmingham Eastside is just around the corner and offers special group rates for the event.
