Under the Covers bring their high-energy Rock 'n' Roll tribute to Joe Joe Jims, covering classics from Queen, The Beatles, The Stones and more.
Under the Covers return to Joe Joe Jims on Friday 11 December, their rock and roll tribute night back in Birmingham after selling out previous appearances at the venue. They're a well-established live band that works through the classics written by some of the biggest names in rock, and the setlist is built around that broad reach rather than a single era or style.
The songs they cover come from a long list of artists: Queen, U2, The Jam, The Beatles, The Stones, The Kinks, The Who, CCR, Thin Lizzy, Bowie, Oasis, Blur, Stevie Wonder, Wilson Pickett and Small Faces. That's a fair bit of ground to cover in one night, and it doesn't stop at rock — they bring in Ska and Motown as well, so the set pulls from a few different corners of the record collection. They describe themselves as ever-entertaining, and they return to Joe Joe Jims as a high-quality live act.

It's a general admission night, so there's no assigned seating — you'll be standing and moving around rather than sitting in a fixed spot.
