Fan-made Twilight-themed rave night at XOYO Birmingham with soundtrack anthems, dark pop and 2000s bangers, film-inspired edits and fancy dress.
Twilight Rave takes over XOYO Birmingham on Friday 23 October, a fan-made club night dedicated to the Twilight saga. It's built around the films and books, with the tongue-in-cheek tagline 'Bella, where the hell you been loca?' and the club promoted as the place where 'every day is Hoa Hoa Hoa season'.
The music doesn't stick to the soundtracks alone. DJs spin those alongside dark pop, emo, indie and 2000s bangers from Paramore, Muse, Lady Gaga, The Killers, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, Evanescence and Lana Del Rey, while film-inspired edits run across the big screens. Fancy dress is highly encouraged, and you're invited to pick your side: Team Edward or Team Jacob.
The organisers make it clear that the night is fan-made and not officially affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the creators of the original films, books or soundtrack. It's a celebration from the fans, for the fans, rather than an official event.
