Halloween edition of the weekly 16+ stand-up show that pairs a line-up of comedians with a big screen of the best bits from the web.
The Glee Club hosts the Thursday Night Comedy Carousel on Thursday 29 October, and this one is the Halloween edition. It's a regular night that runs every Thursday, so if you've missed it before, this is a good chance to catch it. The line-up for the 29th is Andy Robinson, Bethany Black, and Dave Longley.
If you're not familiar with how the night works, it's a fast-paced, spontaneous stand-up show that pairs a line-up of comedians with a big screen showing the best bits from the weird world of the web. It's won four What's On Readers' Awards for Best Comedy Show and a Chortle Award for Best Themed Comedy Show, and was voted Best Comedy Night in the Midlands by What's On four years running, plus Best Themed Comedy Night 2020 at Chortle. The Birmingham Mail called it a 'barrel load of belly laughs'.
The show is in the Studio room at the Glee Club, 70 Hurst Street, Birmingham B5 4TD. Doors open at 7:45pm, with last entry at 8:00pm, so you'll want to be in before then. It's a 16+ only room, with unallocated seating, and there are no refunds for under-16s. If you're under 25, you might need government-issued photo ID.
