Free day of South Asian bridal fashion, jewellery, venues and wedding vendors with three live catwalk shows.
The National Asian Wedding Show comes to Eastside Rooms on Sunday 24 January 2027, running from 11:00am to 7:00pm. It's a one-day event that pulls together a huge range of wedding planning under one roof: bridal fashion, jewellery, venues, dΓ©cor, catering, photography and destination wedding specialists. If you're in the middle of planning a South Asian wedding, it's the kind of day where you can tick off half your to-do list in a few hours rather than spending weeks chasing separate appointments across the city.
The catwalk is the main draw. There are three free live shows throughout the day, each showcasing the latest South Asian bridal and occasion wear from both established names and emerging designers. It's a good way to see how the fabrics move and how the colours look in person before you commit to a particular style. Between the shows, there's live entertainment and special offers from the wedding vendors on the floor, so you can chat with the people behind the stands and get a feel for how they work.

There's some history behind it, too. The show is run by The Platinum Group and presented by its CEO and founder, Manny Singh, who bills it as 'The World's Leading Asian Wedding Show'. It's now in its 23rd year, having evolved since it first started in 2004, and it's spent more than two decades bringing weddings to life. The Platinum Group also runs the Dubai Wedding Show, so this is part of a wider operation. The Birmingham edition takes place at The Eastside Rooms on Woodcock Street, B7 4BL, and tickets are free, so you can head down without spending a penny to get in.
