1920s-inspired cabaret winter ball with pole and heels dancers from The Hidden Dragons Cabaret, with prizes for the best dressed.
The Hidden Dragons Cabaret are back at The Crescent Theatre on Saturday 28 November, with their winter ball, The Freaky Blinders Ball. It's a 1920s-inspired theatre show built around pole and heels dancers, so the whole night is built on that particular kind of cabaret—the glitz and glamour of the golden era, but with the pole and heels work as the main feature.
There's a local angle to it, too. The show is meant to celebrate Birmingham's own culture and nightlife, past and present, alongside that 1920s cabaret style. It's not just a generic vintage night; it's got the city's own history running through it.
And you're encouraged to get involved. The invitation is to turn up in your finest 1920s outfit, and there are prizes for the best-dressed audience members, so if you've got a suit or a dress from the era gathering dust in the wardrobe, this is a good excuse to bring it out.
