Family Christmas pantomime of Snow White with songs, dances, costumes and audience participation at the Regent Theatre.
Snow White opens at the Regent Theatre on Friday 11 December, with the pantomime running through the Christmas period. It's billed as 'the fairest pantomime of them all', a family show that brings the fairy tale to life with laughter, music and magic, packed with songs, dances, sweets, glorious costumes and plenty of audience participation. The Wicked Queen and the Magic Mirror sit at the centre of the story.
The plot follows Dolly and her son Danny, who, fearing the Queen is no longer the 'fairest of them all', try to keep Snow White safe by impersonating the Magic Mirror and, in true panto style, spectacularly fail. The Queen has hired the most thoroughly inept and engagingly useless murderers to do her dirty work, so the story leans as much on the comedy as it does on the original tale. It's a family production, with the songs, dances and audience participation making it a good shout for taking the kids along over the holidays.
