A silent disco party with three music channels played over headphones, from disco divas and 80s hits to pop, at the Hillscourt Hotel in Bromsgrove.
A Silent Disco is coming to the Hillscourt Hotel & Conference Centre on Saturday 28 November, starting at 19:00 and running into Sunday morning. If you've never been to one, the premise is pretty simple: everyone wears headphones and controls their own soundtrack, picking their favourite tunes and dancing to the beat. It's a party where you're in charge of what you hear, so you can switch things up whenever you fancy.
The night is built around three music channels to choose from, with something for everyone. They're billing it as disco divas, 80s enthusiasts, and pop lovers, so you can jump between the three throughout the evening. If you're in the mood for a bit of disco, you can stick with that for a while, then flip over to the 80s when the mood shifts, and maybe end up on the pop channel when the night really gets going. Since everyone has their own headphones, you can change channels without missing a beat.
The venue is the Hillscourt Hotel & Conference Centre in Rose Hill, Bromsgrove, Birmingham B45 8RS. It's a 54-bedroom hotel, conference and food-and-beverage venue with nine meeting rooms and Gold Neuroinclusive Accreditation, set beside the Lickey Hills. It's a bit of a different spot for a dance, tucked away in Rose Hill rather than right in the city centre, so it's worth keeping that in mind if you're planning your night.
