Live recording of a Punjabi mental health podcast about social media, young people and wellbeing, open to the public.
Taraki are hosting a live recording of the Punjabi Mental Health podcast at Sangat Television on Saturday 7 November, from 1:00 to 4:00. The session focuses on the relationship between social media, young people and mental health, and it's being recorded in Punjabi.
Rather than a polished studio production, this is a live recording that draws on first-hand stories to look at how social media affects young people's mental health. The aim is to keep the conversation open and honest, with the recording itself serving as a way to bring people together and create a space for dialogue around wellbeing. It's open to anyone, though there's a particular invitation to people from Punjabi communities.
The afternoon is structured in three parts. Arrival is between 1:00 and 1:30, followed by a 90-minute live recording from 1:30 to 3:00, and then refreshments and networking to close. The latter half is where the conversation can continue off-mic, so it's worth sticking around after the recording finishes.
