Monarch in Wonderland returns to Libertine By ChinaWhite on Friday 30 October, the second edition of Monarch's Halloween night. The first one sold out, so this one is coming back with a darker take on Wonderland than before. It's a late one, running from 23:00 on Friday through to 04:00 on Saturday morning, which fits the Halloween timing if you're planning to make a night of it.
Libertine is part of the ChinaWhite group, a premium nightclub with Asian-influenced interiors and VIP service at its core. It's just a short walk from Birmingham New Street, so it's easy enough to get to from the city centre. The venue runs regular club nights and promoter-led events, and the Monarch series is one of them. The sound there tends to lean towards hip hop and R&B, with guest DJ performances mixed in, so that's a good idea of what to expect on the dancefloor.
Because it's a Halloween special, the whole night is built around the theme. The first edition sold out, and this second outing is taking a darker turn on the Wonderland concept, so if you're into the dress-up side of things, it's a good excuse to lean into it. It's a late-night spot, so the party doesn't even start until 23:00, and it keeps going well into the early hours of Saturday morning.
