Free, family-friendly Halloween craft and gift fair with around 30 local craft stalls, a pop-up kitchen and afternoon tea at Arden Hall.
Lolly's Events are back at Arden Hall on Sunday 18 October with their Halloween Craft & Gift Fair, part of a regular run of fairs they've been holding across the year. It's a community-run afternoon of shopping, crafts, music and food, and this one falls right into the Halloween season.
Inside the hall, you'll find around 30 local craft stalls to browse through, so there's plenty to look at if you're hunting for something handmade. Alongside the shopping, there's a pop-up kitchen serving up authentic food that runs from Caribbean to Indian, with homemade cakes and bakes and afternoon tea on the side for when you need a break from the stalls. The whole thing is billed as family-friendly, so it works as a Sunday afternoon out with the kids as much as a solo wander.
Beyond the shopping and eating, there's a bit more on the go. The organisers offer one-to-one psychic readings from their 'famous Psychic Mediums' and holistic therapy taster sessions, so you can fit in a reading or a session between the stalls. Towards the end of the afternoon, a raffle is drawn at 3.30pm, with a prize basket that includes a contribution from every stall in the hall.
