Weekly Tuesday stand-up gong show hosted by Third Eye Comedy, with circuit guests, new voices and open-mic slots.
Third Eye Comedy are running their gong show at The White Lion on Tuesday 1 December, part of their regular Tuesday night slot in Sutton Coldfield. It's a format that puts the audience in charge: anyone can take the mic and get two minutes to make the room laugh. If they're funny, they stay on; if not, they get the gong.
That's the core of the night, and the bill builds around it. You'll get special guests from the comedy circuit mixed in with fresh new voices and open-mic slots, so the professional stuff sits alongside people having their first go. There's plenty of audience participation too, so it's more of a shared thing than just sitting and watching.
It's organised by Third Eye Comedy, and the whole night is filmed for YouTube, so you'll want to keep that in mind if you're thinking of taking the mic yourself. The show is for ages 16 and over.

Doors open at 7:20pm, and it usually wraps up around 9:00pm, so it's a mid-week one that doesn't run too late. You'll find it at The White Lion, 93 Hill Village Road, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, B75 5HL.
