Jamaica vs Nigeria Comedy Clash

Jamaica vs Nigeria Comedy Clash returns to The Glee Club Birmingham on Sunday 25 October, with the two nations going head to head in a friendly comedy battle. Escape Promotions is bringing the clash back to the city by popular demand, following a string of sold-out shows in 2024 and 2025. The promoters frame it as one of the biggest rivalries between the two countries, and they're inviting the crowd to come out and back their nation.

The format is straightforward: each side puts forward its best comedians to face off, with all the stereotypes, jokes and banter of the rivalry on the go. Team Jamaica features White Yardie, Shabba Kariem and Smash Entertainz, while Team Nigeria is made up of A Dot Comedian, Funmbi Omotayo and Toju. Richard Blackwood hosts the night, keeping the two sides in check as they trade blows.

It's an over-18s night, with allocated seating and food available. The show takes place in the Main Room at The Glee Club, 70 Hurst Street, Birmingham B5 4TD. Doors open at 6:45pm, the show starts at 7:45pm sharp and runs until 10:45pm. Standard tickets are £26, which includes guaranteed seating.
