Christmas family pantomime of Jack and the Beanstalk, billed as the Birmingham Hippodrome's biggest regional panto, for ages 5 and over.
Jack and the Beanstalk is coming to St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park this December, with three dates to choose from: Sunday 6 December, and then Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 December. It's a Christmas pantomime, so it's built for families to take in together over the holiday break.
The production is presented by the Birmingham Hippodrome, which bills it as their biggest regional panto. It's a family treat, and it runs about two hours and ten minutes, so you'll want to leave enough time around it if you're coming from across the city. It's rated for ages five and over, which keeps it firmly in the territory of something you can bring the younger ones along to.

Having three dates spread across the month gives you a bit of flexibility. The first is early December, on Sunday 6, and then there's a pair of dates right at the end of the month, Monday 21 and Tuesday 22, when the school holidays are in full swing. If you're planning your Christmas outings, you can pick the one that fits best around your other plans. It's a good length for a family afternoon or evening out, and the age rating means it's suitable for the smaller ones too.
