Five-kilometre pink walk through Cannon Hill Park to raise funds for the Imran Khan Cancer Appeal during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Imran Khan Cancer Appeal is hosting its 5K Pink Walk at Cannon Hill Park on Sunday 25 October, from 11:00 to 13:00. It's a five-kilometre route through the park, open to all ages and abilities, with cheering supporters lining the way. The event falls during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and participants are encouraged to wear pink. You'll get a free IKCA T-shirt on the day, and walkers are set a minimum fundraising target of £50.
The walk is run by the Imran Khan Cancer Appeal (IKCA) to raise funds for cancer research and patient support. Every penny raised goes directly to the charity, which funds treatment and care programmes in the UK and overseas, including at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in Lahore and Peshawar. It's a straightforward way to get out into the park for a few hours while contributing to that work.
