Free, in-person four-hour accredited workplace programme on understanding and managing mental health and wellbeing.
I-Act is running a session on understanding and promoting positive mental health and wellbeing at St Michael's Church in Hall Green on Friday 20 November, from 10 am to 2 pm. It's a four-hour workshop, delivered in person, and it's free to attend.
I-Act is an accredited, evidence-based programme designed for understanding and managing mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. The session provides practical tools for dealing with stress, anxiety and low mood, and works to promote positive wellbeing and build resilience. It's the kind of thing that's useful whether you're managing a team or just navigating your own day-to-day, and the focus is on tools you can actually use rather than just talking about the theory. You'll leave with a free resource pack, a toolkit and signposting to further support, so you've got something to take home and refer back to after the session is over.
It runs for four hours, and because it's delivered in person, it's more of a shared experience than a lecture. You'll be working through the material with other people in the room, which makes a difference when you're talking about things like stress and resilience. If you've been feeling the weight of work lately, it's a good place to pick up some concrete ways of handling it.
