GOTG Spooky Speed Friending (under 25's)

Girls On The Go are hosting a spooky speed friending night for under 25s at Society Birmingham on Tuesday 27 October. It's a girl-only event, and the format is exactly what it says on the tin: a series of short, timed conversations with other women, so you can meet a good few people in one evening rather than sticking to one long chat. If you're under 25 and looking to expand your circle in the city, it's a straightforward way to do it.

For a bit of context, Girls On The Go (GOTG) is a girl-only community that runs weekly events across the UK, with the mission of making the country a less lonely place for women. They operate in several cities, including Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester, and they run a WhatsApp community alongside their in-person programme. The offering is broad: creative painting workshops, book clubs, running clubs, yoga and pilates classes, and the UK's largest girl-only bingo, as well as socials and balls. It's all aimed at being accessible, affordable and easy to make friends even if you turn up alone. Since 2023, they say they've helped thousands of girls make friends, with more than 300,000 women in their online community. This session is part of their girl-only programme here in Birmingham.
