A cabaret and comedy gig by the award-winning disabled Drag King Crip Ladywood at WashWorx, part of the venue's Friday night entertainment.
Crip Ladywood is playing WashWorx on Friday 16 October, as part of the venue's Friday night. He's one of the UK's best-known disabled Drag Kings, an award-winning cabaret act who puts live vocals and glam together with camp comedy patter and a heartfelt love for his craft and his communities. He's performed across the UK and internationally to thousands, so this is a Birmingham date from a performer with plenty of stage behind him.
The show is called Show + Giggles, and it's the main feature of the evening. It's part of WashWorx's Friday night, which pairs live music, singers and performers with back-to-back DJs running into the early hours. So the live act is just the start of the night, with the dancefloor taking over once the performance is done.
