Face-to-face 1-to-1 matchmaking meetup for single, divorced, widowed and reconvert Muslims, with a chaperone ticket available.
Qabul Events are running a Muslim Marriage Event at The Great Barr Hotel on Saturday 7 November, from 11:00 to 19:00. It's a 1-to-1 matchmaking meetup for single Muslims in Birmingham, and they frame it as a calm, respectful, face-to-face alternative to swiping through apps — something for people who're actually looking for marriage. The whole day is built around 'quality over quantity', and the format is strictly 1-to-1 rotations, with conversations lasting up to five minutes each. There are no group tables, so it's just you and the person in front of you, one after another, in a halal environment with modest conduct. Private matching only happens if the interest is mutual on both sides.
It's open to single, divorced, widowed and revert Muslims from all ethnic backgrounds, and they balance the places by gender and age. Entry is for British citizens only, and you'll need to bring a passport or a full UK driving licence. If you're coming with a chaperone, there's a separate Mehram ticket available for them.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Birmingham and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
